Exciting news just in with the Glitch Mob announcing the release date of their new EP entitled “We Can Make The World Stop” to drop July 12th. The boys have shared a free download of “Warrior Concerto“, the first track off the new album.

The Glitch Mob continue to innovate and create quality sounds that translate to something very big live. I had the privilege to see them live last year (2010) in Sydney at the Parklife Festival. It was definitely in the top 5 gigs I’ve seen of all time. If you ever get a chance to see these cats they won’t disappoint. Here’s a clip from that set (excuse quality):

Their live set is awesome – full of so much energy. Live drums (albeit quantized for perfection but it’s part of their smorgasbord), synths & they get the audience engaged. The track in the clip contains a sample from a Collie Budz tune. One of the things I love doing is tracking down samples and finding more talent – Bermuda rapper Collie Budz got the skills but more on him later.
