Let’s Colour Project : Paint the World with Dulux Walls
This is such a great project. Colour is such a vital, vibrant part of life that sparks mood, motivation and most things good. In a world where everything seems the same, where we get comfortable & complacent, where it’s filled with gloom, negativity & despair – colour is what revitalises. The Let’s Colour Project, launched by Dulux, Dulux Valentine, Marshal and Tintas Coral
is a worldwide initiative to transform grey spaces with vibrant colour. A mission to spread colour all over the world.
Check out this video made by Spy Films (who made the French short film – Nuit Blanche) featuring music by J?nsi (from Sigur R?s) called ‘Go Do’. It’s absolutely amazing – shot over 4 weeks in 4 countries (Brazil, France, London and India) featuring real people, no actors.
There are a number of events happening around the world where you can participate or even launch your own project. The community engagement value in this initiative is paramount! What a great way to bond people from all different demographics allowing them to shine light into their lives. To get involved, you can sign up for more info and get Twitter updates (@lets_colour).

I really wish our local government (NSW) was more proactive about where to spend their money rather than investing in “Graffiti Action Day” which happened in May this year. Sure, remove tags and scribbles made by juveniles but when it’s street art, it’s there for the community. Try to think of that before living your perfect selfish steralised lives!
At least there’s some hope… Melbourne’s progressive Lord Mayor welcomes Banksy’s street art after a recent blunder where council workers painted over one of his famous rat stencils. At least there will be a bit more of an open-minded approach when dealing with these sorts of matters.
So yeah, I think it’s a great project – let’s colour the walls peoples!
