Max Tannone has produced an album featuring the vocal styles of Mos Def with some classic reggae tracks underneath. Very cool stuff and perfect today considering I was moving to some reggae beats last night (although the Billie Jean cover they played – wtf??). Anyway, not to defocus from Max’s fine compilation – lots of cool tracks.. Nice phat kicks on History Town which uses Shanty Town by Desmond Dekker, probably my favourite.

Max Tannone has also done a couple of other remix projects. Jaydiohead – a fusion between Jay-Z and Radiohead; and Doublecheck Your Head – featuring the Beastie Boys vs the Beastie Boys.

The Beastie Boys tracks are solid too. Pass The Gratitude has some really nice work on the guitars and effects. Nice work Max!
